The Value of Our Services

Cornerstones for Each Player

Our mission is to help players discover their highest potential through a personalized approach, holistic development, and mentorship. We consult, mentor, coach, and train players in the Bay Area who are committed long-term to the process of being the best.

Our value lies in three key aspects of our approach: depth, personalization, and a holistic perspective. We deeply analyze every facet of a player’s game, tailor our developmental programs to each individual's unique strengths and needs, and support the overall well-being of our athletes, ensuring they thrive both on and off the field.

The Value
Depth

We thoroughly analyze our players' game, style of play, strengths and weaknesses, lacrosse IQ, and mental performance. We identify barriers, reflect, self-assess, and make necessary adjustments. By focusing on the details and nuances, we help players develop precision on the field, ensuring they play with accuracy and refinement based on the specific game situation.

Personalization

Every player is unique and needs to develop their game based on their individual strengths, weaknesses, style, and role within the offense. Our developmental programs and sessions are tailored to each player's specific skill set, focusing on where they are most dangerous on the field and their position, whether as an attackman or midfielder. Players should be dynamic, possessing a diverse set of skills, and capable of reading and processing defenses. They don't need to excel at everything offensively but should master their unique game.

Holistic

Our approach recognizes that players are not just athletes; they are human beings who play lacrosse. We strive to understand and support our athletes as individuals, considering their off-field interests, emotional and mental challenges, social dynamics, and overall well-being. By addressing what drives them and what makes them happy, we help them achieve a balanced life, knowing that happier individuals make better players.

Our purpose is not to work with the most players, but rather with those who want to take a deep dive and discover what’s possible. We’re currently out there training on the field, studying the game, reflecting on strengths and weaknesses, sharing books and podcasts, having conversations about blocks and fears with players, advising on the college recruiting process, and checking in about our players' experiences outside of lacrosse that inherently shape their experience on the field. We’re continuing to evolve daily, in the same way we inspire our athletes through a beginner’s mindset, curiosity, humility, reflection, and devotion to the continual process of being our best. The only constant is change. The game is changing, players change, and so do we.

Where We Train

We train and mentor players throughout the Bay Area of California from Palo Alto to San Francisco, Marin, and the East Bay. Our home base is in the South Bay (fields in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City, Burlingame) and we travel to central locations throughout the Bay Area or to meet players where they are upon request.

Where are you located? Where do you train? And do you travel to players?
  • Our location primarily encompasses the Bay Area from Palo Alto to Marin to the East Bay. Typically, we train out of several different fields around Burlingame, Menlo Park, and Redwood City. Yes, we travel to players. We understand that some families cannot travel and we will meet at a central location or travel to players upon request.
Do you mentor and train both girls' and boys' lacrosse players?
  • Yes, we support athletes in both sports.
What ages of players does C7 Lacrosse work with?
  • We are less focused on age and more focused on vetting a player based on their drive and commitment to the process being their best.
